Friends of EDAS
Become a Friend of EDAS and Join us to support Art in our local community
Are you interested in visual art, any form? We'd love to meet anyone who could help us to promote art locally, EDAS is an easy way of supporting ART in our community.
You will be aiding EDAS to stage its Annual Schools Sixth Form Exhibition of Art, helping us continue to improve the quality of our display equipment and assisting us with our donations to local charities which seek to help people through the provision of Art & Craft activities.
In return you will receive periodic newsletters, be invited to EDAS Previews which are always convivial social occasions and have the opportunity to purchase pictures and cards prior to the public exhibition.
You will also have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping with our aims to promote the development, practice, understanding and love of art throughout the local community
The annual membership fee is
£10 per individual or
£15 per couple

EDAS Objectives
- To encourage and promote art through exhibitions, demonstrations, lectures, workshops and visits.
- To support the interaction between those involved with visual art in all its creative forms and the general public.
- To seek co-operative ventures with other similar minded organizations and liaise with other artists groups, colleges and schools.
- To develop and support a network of those involved with the arts and the local community whilst welcoming the participation of visitors and friends who share a love of art.
